I started writing the #FightyourNormal series because of the catalyst of my own wake-up call but, even as I said to myself, “I have to live my life, I can’t let anything get in my way” there was still fear and doubt. Why? Because I knew that intention wasn’t enough, I knew that I was coming against old habits, ingrained beliefs and self-sabotage and that these things could easily keep me bound. I realised that I needed something more. If I was going to change things, I knew I needed to fight.
Many people are still asleep to this and in addition, whilst they’re trying really hard to create the change they desire they are also asleep to the truth that there is absolutely NOTHING standing in the way between you and the life you want to live except… YOU.
Maybe you’ve come to that realisation to?
But don’t worry, it’s fixable and it starts with you making a single decision. You have to decide that no matter what, you are going to BE the person and do the things that will get you where you want to go and mean it, no excuses. As soon as you say it, mean it and believe it, you’ve already opened the door to it happening, all that’s left is to walk through it.
Ask yourself who do you really need to BE in order to live the life you Truly Desire, is it the same person as you are now? What needs to change?
Ask yourself this, how much would your life change if the majority of your DECISIONS and ACTIONS were aligned to who you could be instead of defaulting back to your normal?
Can you see how powerful yet simple it could be to get there?
Now imagine how different you would be:
✔️ You’ll stop making excuses for yourself and start taking responsibility
✔️ You won’t wait for things to happen you’ll create opportunities
✔️ You won’t dream for things to change, you’ll make choices that result in change
✔️ You won’t make decisions based on what other people think, you’ll make them based on your self-belief
✔️ You’ll stop playing safe and you’ll start taking more chances because you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain
✔️ You’ll stop settling for less because you know that you are worthy and are deserving of so much more
✔️ You’ll stop seeing roadblocks and difficulties and start seeing possibilities and hope.
✔️Bstop waiting for permission and start walking through doors that God has already opened for you and has been waiting for you to walk through with your head held high
In a nutshell, you won’t allow fear to paralyse you or diminish your light any longer.
And yes, this is a decision. All you have to do is say “Yes”.
