About Florence Ukpabi

I love God. I’ve always loved Him but I didn’t always believe He loved me and that caused me to either work really hard for approval in all my earthly relationships or keep a wall between me and anybody else who looked dangerous to my sense of self. It was a lot of work and I wasn’t surprised when I fell ill. God held me by the hand and took me on a journey into His heart and there I found a God who truly desires to bless us abundantly and overwhelm us with His infinite love. We can do all things through Christ/Messiah who strengthens us.

Big Dreams = Bigger Trust

big dreams require even bigger trust

Here’s a simple truth that I’m discovering, big dreams require even bigger trust. When I talk about big dreams, I’m really talking about your heart’s desires, not so much what you think you want or what you’ve been told that you should want or chase down but what you really, really, deep down in your soul desire. Big dreams generally always come with a dose of fear, anxiety, doubt and worry and as much as I’d like to deny it, I’ve noticed it in myself. When I stop to think about it, the reason behind it is obvious, it means Continue Reading →

3 Steps to get what you REALLY Want

3 Steps to get what you REALLY Want

Confession time, the last two years have probably been the toughest of my life because I came out of a long-term relationship that had supported me through some of my worst moments. I had to discover myself and my strength in a much deeper way. had to lean on YHWH in a way that I had never had to before, had to make decisions from a whole new place and none of it was easy. But saying that, it has also been the season that has caused me to manifest the resource within me to start again from scratch and Continue Reading →

The Key to More Joy in your Life

“Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” The Bible speaks of a FULLNESS of Joy because this is YHWH’s desire for us. It’s not a partial joy here and there but a deep and complete sense of feeling good. How do we experience this?

E = MC² for Christians – Why understanding this could change your Life

E = MC² for Christians

God has been blowing my mind with revelation recently and I think I just might explode if I don’t share it. I’ve been thinking about physical vs spiritual reality a lot and yesterday as I was meditating, worshipping and journalling YHWH gave me insight into the equation E = MC². I was so blown away that I recorded a podcast then and there (watch out for it in the next few weeks, it’s a powerful one but this is also something that I will talk about in the upcoming Vision Breakthrough Workshop on the 15th – unashamed plug) This equation Continue Reading →

“Does it really work?” vs “How can I make it work for me?”

Does It really work or...?

This post is a post of two halves, you might have already read the first half if you’re in my mailing list or FB group so you can skip to Part Deux. If not then continue to read away and don’t forget to let me know your thoughts. Part 1 – Does it really work or…? You wouldn’t be the first person to have thought to yourself, Does it really work or…? I actually think it’s natural. Yep, it’s natural to look around us and wonder “does that/this/it really work or is it just…

The Danger of NOT Letting go of your Past

Rather, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him."

Last week I had a BIG wake-up call (don’t you just love it when God does that?) and I was faced with news that would finally sever ties to the past. Even though in my mind I thought that I had left the past behind obviously I hadn’t fully let it go. God brought a visiting pastor to our church, and he preached on this topic, which convicted me so much, so I’m passing what I took from it onto you because maybe you too need to hear this. So many times we think we have left the past behind Continue Reading →

Self-knowing as the Key to Clarity in Life and Purpose

Self knowing is your inner guidance system

Throughout May I have been doing a series on re-discovering your voice. I started it because a friend of mine had commented on how naturally and authentically I present my “brand” to the world, nothing “salesy” yet still attractive and aligned to who I am. I am not a business coach and don’t pretend to be but I guess what she was saying that in a space where people can definitely come across one way and be another, to have a brand that is authentic, congruent AND still attractive to potential clients is often not the case. You’ve probably heard Continue Reading →

How to Be the Light in a Dark World

How can we be the light in a dark world, how can we make an eternal impact and transform lives? Over the last few weeks, I have been talking about the importance of re-discovering your voice over in my FB Group. Simply put, our voice is the truth of who we are. Unfortunately, there are some things which stop us from re-discovering and embracing our voice namely: Shame and Fear. Shame leads us to believe that our voice is wrong, faulty or not good enough to be loved and accepted by others. Fear focuses on the potential consequences or “what ifs” Continue Reading →

Imagination, Belief, Desire

Imagine more

We cannot imagine anything new. What this means is that everything we have or can imagine has already been imagined, there is nothing new. Likewise, we cannot imagine anything that doesn’t already exist, we’re just not that intelligent to create something from nothing. All our imaginations are evidence of something that already exists in some shape or form. This is very good news because it means that if you can imagine and see the vision clearly it already exists out there somewhere. YHWH said, “Behold, the people are one, and they all have one language; and they begin to do this, Continue Reading →

What I learnt from my Friend’s Passing – I give myself Permission to Live!

I give myself permission to serve in joy

A close friend of mine and dear sister in faith passed away over the weekend and as usual, when something like this happens it prompts you to reflect on life. I would like to share some of my thoughts with you. My friend Lorraine was/is amazing. She had a larger than life personality and an even bigger heart, her door was always open for fellowship and she was a mother to many people. She was a fantastic intercessor and worshipper. Each year without fail she would travel to Israel for ministry work or celebrate a feast day, last year she went Continue Reading →
