What no one EVER tells you about ‘Going BIG’

The Abundant Living Summit

Have you ever wanted to start a BIG project or up-level in some way but found yourself unable to cross the finishing line? Well, I want to share some insight that no one ever tells you about going BIG and what to do about it. This week I start promoting my first ever virtual summit and feeling terrified would not be far off from the truth. I’ve been beavering away since February, working long hours with sometimes one meal a day but guess what? That has NOT been the hardest thing. The hardest thing has been pushing past fear, resistance, doubts and Continue Reading →

How to let go of Fear, Pain and Worry

let go of Fear Pain and Worry

Do you believe it’s possible to reach a place where there is no more fear, pain or worry, only stillness, quietness and a deep peace? As I write this question even I wonder at its strangeness, but I have experienced this place at least three times. Before I go any further, I know this post is a long one and possibly challenging but I encourage you to read to the end because I believe that it will bless you. The first time I was in my final year of university, in a place of deep depression and intense emotional pain. Continue Reading →

What is Energy? (Energy Healing in the Bible – Part 1)

What is energy? A Biblical perspective.

Growing up I can remember being taught basic Physics such as the different types of energy. We had potential energy which was stored energy and kinetic energy which was energy that moved like light, heat, sound and electromagnetic energy. One of the first energy laws we were taught is that energy never dies, it only changes. This is based on Albert Einstein’s famous quote: “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.” I never paid much attention to this except to store it in my mind as interesting information, it was only when Continue Reading →

A Lesson on Living (What July taught me)

Living in now

Hey lovely, how has July been for you? July has been a funny little month for me, a lot has happened. I launched my Ready to Heal, Ready to Flourish programme, I started a new Challenge around bringing down our personal Jericho Walls but, at the same time I pulled back in my business. This was a really important decision for me because I know that sometimes we can spend so much time doing things in order to reach a specific point in the future, that we miss out on now. I am reminded that God didn’t create us to Continue Reading →

Are you Reactive or Proactive about your Health?

reactive proactive health

Last week’s MindShift question was as follows: When it comes to your healing journey are you more REACTIVE or PROACTIVE? ‪ I think this can be viewed as a spectrum that goes a bit like this Reactive ————Passive———- Active————-Proactive I asked the ladies to also think about some additional questions such as on average where did they feel that their default position was on the spectrum, was there still space for progress and what did they feel was blocking that progress. I have to admit that when I first asked this question I thought I knew what I would be talking about on Continue Reading →

What does the Bible say about Mindset work?

BIble-based mindset

Mindset, mindset, mindset! It’s a word that has become increasingly popular and we hear time and time again. Wouldn’t you love to hear what the Bible says about Mindset work, why it’s important and what kind of practices would be most beneficial for you? I don’t fully know why but I was led to go into this, maybe thinking about it because of all the work that has gone on inside me and also how I see it helping other Christians too. The truth is ‘mindset’ work isn’t just for certain types of people who want to achieve certain types Continue Reading →

Faith without Works is Dead (Health Behaviours and Positive Life Choices)

Life is a choice faith without works is dead

Last week we looked at the importance of authentic faith and it goes very nicely with this week’s topic Health Behaviours and Positive Life Choices. We already know the scripture Faith without works is dead, but as we saw from last week as Christians we tend to focus on only one half of the equation, Faith. I love how the AMP says it: So too, faith, if it does not have works [to back it up], is by itself dead [inoperative and ineffective]. (James 2: 17)

Two Scriptures that helped me embrace Faith in my Heart

Faith and Love

This week’s theme is Faith.  I have personally had quite a difficult relationship with Faith but I wasn’t aware of it until it became a Word that people used against me. When I fell ill and began to seek support from people in the church, the F word began to pop up a LOT.  I was told that I didn’t have enough faith and that I needed to have more faith. To say these words annoyed me would be a bit of an understatement, they really peeved me off.  However (emphasise x 3), it got me thinking more about faith, the nature of Continue Reading →

What I learnt about Trust going back to University + Training Call Replay

What I learned about trust from enrolling at university

So today I want to share something (two things actually) quite close to my heart.  The first is the replay of last night’s training call which was a big deal for me for very personal reasons but also I have a confession to make. This confession is actually the catalyst for last night’s training call, because without what I learnt during this season I wouldn’t have been able to share at all. What is it?
